Sue organised a special couch for Scooby Doo and Me
Sue Jones invited Scooby Doo and me to visit her blog to answer a few questions. I immediately thought the scabby white cat had been telling tales again, but Sue just wanted to find out why I started blogging and if Mrs Sensible minds doing the cooking while I chat to fellow bloggers.

Actually his cat food smells OK, Gilda eats it. I keep a count of the number of cans we have just in case, because Mrs Sensible is a fantastic cook and I am sure she could turn a can of Scooby’s cat food into some pasta dish.

When you are trying to get out of the car and the daft cat is trying to get in (because he knows it is warm) or when you are loaded down with shopping bags and the cat beats you through the door and tries to hide in the house, (It took 10 mins last time to force him back out into the cold and the rain) you will soon stop regarding him as cute. 😉
At the weekend I had just fed him and decided to give him a little attention, He slowly lifted his front paw and extended his claws one after the other and gave me one of his stares. I dared him, in fact I double dared him to scratch me. He did you know, one little scratch on my thumb and didn’t even run away.

I think the problem is, he just hasn’t yet got to grips with the English language. He seems to understand Mrs Sensible lingo much better.

We broke an egg, so I put it in a honey jar and stuck it on top of the car. It took the cat less than 2 milliseconds to stick his paw in and eat the egg whilst glaring at me. Gilda was nonplussed because she was too fat to climb onto the roof of my Mini and share the egg.

If Scooby Doo keeps on eating like that then Gilda will be able to eat him instead of the egg. And she won’t even have to climb on top of the mini to do it.

The cat just meows outside the window until we feed him.
I will ask Mrs S what she is doing and she will tell me she is feeding the cat. BUT!! I have just fed him…..
We even checked how much cat food he is supposed to eat in case we are starving him. He just likes food.

My cat would eat all the time if I allowed him to. I don’t, because he pukes on the floor then asks for more. Nice.

I am not sure which is worse, your cat barfing on the floor or Scooby Doo (Who doesn’t even belong to us) leaving squidgy ones for me.

Great interview. Are you going to fly over and be on one of the late night talk shows in the US soon? If so please advise in advance so that I can have a nap so I can stay up that late. Be sure to bring Scooby Doo with you…he may get his own YouTube channel just like Grumpy Cat!

A stray has taken up residence in the back garden (well, greenhouse, actually). Just like Scooby, invited himself in, made it his home, eats several meals a day and is only too happy to claw people when they’re feeding him! With the recent high winds, he’s been sitting outside, in the dark, whining loudly in the hope of being allowed into the house. Not a chance. If he keeps up that whining, I may have to strangle him. Thank goodness it’s not summer with the windows open. Perhaps it’s time to invest in a Supersoaker?

Once you start feeding them, you can’t stop. If I win the lotto I will shout it from the roof tops. I don’t think Mrs Sensible would be impressed if I used a super soaker on Scooby, plus he might leave me a little present somewhere.

He is not really my cat, he is an unpaid lodger. He is supposed to live across the road with the 2 big dogs.
We only feed him because he meows so loud.

He he he. Dogs have all their trust to their human and cats are a little different. If they are not happy in their home, they go for finding a new home.
I have both a big puppy and two old cats, as were allowed to race him from little puppy. I wish to keep them all and they all live inside the house.

Scooby Doo is a bit of a strange cat, I don’t think it would be safe to let him loose in the house, just before Christmas a woman turned up for an English lesson and Scooby stretched up and rested his front paws on her leg. She said “I don’t really like cats” she then let out a tiny scream as Scooby sank his claws into her leg while he continued to purr …
I don’t’ underestimate this scabby cat for one minute.

He he he he he. I did have a cat Snowy looking like him. Unfortunately, while we had the preparings for leaving Denmark to Spain, needed to visit the vet to get their passports, she found out, that he was very sick and we needed to let him pass over short time after.
After the relocating to Spain many cats have tried to come in here, but my old boy will not accept new any longer. Sorry.

What a funny cat! Enjoy him. My sweet kitty died almost 2 years ago and I still miss her every day. Mind you, she never ate eggs out of a jam jar on top of a mini. 🙂
