You made me happy: Italy is still Italy, no matter what else happens in the world. Thanks! vera.
Italy is a great place. I wouldn’t live anywhere else.
Fabulous – a man that can’t drive, and a hot-headed Mamma. I’m surprised they didn’t just pick the car up and shift it -I’ve already seen it done here in France.
I love the priest, who raises his hands to heaven.
Oh? I thought he was trying to make the fiat levitate, à la david Copperfield.
It really couldn’t have been planned any better.
First a couple of cars to block him in, then the hells angels, and to top it all a priest on a mission.
You sure you weren’t shooting the film ” il miracolo di S. Gennaro ” ?
………………………
I had to google “il miracolo di S. Gernnaro” Nope not me
This is just fabulous!!! You made me cry from laughing so hard! This is so typical
You made my day, thanks!!
It is just lucky that this was caught on camera. To be honest this is an everyday occurrence.
I am surprised it was not me in the drivers seat, with Mrs Sensible saying ” no left hand down a bit .. no now the other way”
Hahahaha….
wow… that was terrible, I would have to just get out and leave the car there.
Me too, but in Naples this would be quite normal.
HAHAHAHA!!!! – Even with capital letters I can not convey how HILARIOUS I find this! I have never seen anything like this is in my life, surely only Italians are capable of such off the scale drama?? Having been laid up in bed with a bad back today, this cheered my day immensely!! Wonderful !
To be honest, this is normal life in Italy. I watched a guy on a motorbike stop at the red traffic lights, put on his helmet, make the cross and then drive straight through the red light and the traffic that was driving from left to right.
When he arrived at the other side of the junction he crossed himself once more, took of his helmet and continued on his way.
I was flabbergasted, Mrs Sensible just shrugged.
I wish I had had my camera with me.
only in Italy……
Hi Crazy lady, this post got 1,600 views. It has made a mockery of my stats. Am I allowed to post it again? Maybe in a months time
really!!???? how fantastic!!!! it’s a way of attracting people and get them to buy your book. Next time you post this or another one, put a LINK to your Amazon book below the video, saying something like, you can read more funny stories about Italy in this book! well done you!
Now that is a good idea.
I normally get 50 to 80 a day. I was amazed when I saw the stats for No Comment.
definitely take it as opportunity to showcase the book next time! ciao, my lunch break is over, I will read your snow report later….
How can he expect to fit in if he’s at a 90 degree angle? There’s a reason it’s called parallel parking.
Because this is Italy. There is no other explanation.
I am so going to love this blog…
Thanks, please stick around. Madness will resume later this week.
